We have boxes and boxes of rare and fabulously eccentric antique maps laying around the house. I know they are valuable. Some haven’t been opened in 40 years and probably belonged to a relative i haven’t seen since I was a kid. This stuff is WAY too precious to list on Ebay. It must get special treatment, as they are all irreplaceable. One day soon I will self-ignite in a huge cloudburst of new wintertime creative projects, and delving into the clever uses of old [ and modern ] maps is officially “on my list” of things I want to do this winter. Here are some fun ideas for using maps in clever new ways that I found this morning.
